Baby's first tooth!

...is finally out. Hoorrayy for Elijah! It's been week of sleepless night for me. It started last week, when Elijah get too fussy at night time. He usually finished 3 bottles of milk (6oz. each) from the time we go to bed until we get up in the morning. But lately, he consume 4 bottles of milk all night long. He keep waking from time to time. He do not want to go back to sleep unless you give him bottle of milk to suck. I guess it helps his soar gum. When I checked his gum, I saw his first tooth just got out. That's what it is! It really makes me wonder, because Elijah is not the type of baby who is very cranky at night. He is such a good boy most of the time, especially during at night. But when something bother him, he get really fussy. Well, I am glad that his first tooth is finally out. There is another one coming out too, just beside the first tooth. Oh yeah, his first tooth is in the buttom. I want to catch some sleep but I cannot. I hope this weekend I could since hubby is off work. It's been a roller coaster nights for me. Huhu.. Sigh!

Muscle pain..

Hello! I hope everyone are having a great afternoon. I been aching since I woke up early this morning. For some reason, my calf is experiencing muscle pain. I am not sure why. I don't remember anything that I did, that will cause me muscle pain in my calf. I did not go out yesterday and wear my pumps, LOL! Ummnn.. strange. I guess lifting Elijah causes it? I been lifting Elijah from time to time (when he is awake) because he is very sensitive right now. I also did some cleaning yesterday. Oh gosh, I cannot wait for hubby to get home and give me some massage on my calf. It's really aching right now. Plus, the boys are not being good to mommy lately. Huhu..

Credit Card Debt

When I got here in the United States, the first thing that I requested for my husband is to get me a credit card. I can count on my credit card everytime I do some shopping. Everytime I went out to look around, I cannot help but buy something inside the store. And of course, I used my credit card in most purchases. Until one day, my husband told me that we are having a Credit card debt because I wasn't paying attention. Which was not a great news at all. I started to pay attention after experiencing a credit card debt problem. It was a nightmare! The interest that we paid on the credit card is twice bigger than the credit card limit that I got. We paid too much interest because of my stupidity. It is so depressing for me. I then learned, that debt has nothing to do anything good to us. I also learned how to practical now adays, now that I have two kids.

We are still paying our credit card debt until this time. One of the biggest thing that really pisses me off. The photo above is the latest picture of me and my eldest son Brandon. We sure got the same eyes, LOL! Half-moon shape eyes.. like what they call it. People always make comments about the shape of my eyes. Half-moon shape, LOL! It's in the blood, actually. I got it from my father's side. My siblings got the same shape of eyes just like me. No wonder why my kids got it too. Just like this photo, it obviously show that my son Brandon sure got my eyes. Except for the fact that he also got curve and thick lashes just like a woman, which I do not have, LOL! He got that from his daddy's side. I love this photo! This is one of my favorite photo, for it show's Brandon's real smile. Mother like son, LOL!

Old love songs..

I am currently listening to oldies love songs right now. Boy, most of the songs reminds me when I was still on my high school. I love oldies love songs, because they sought my mind. It entertain myself too. It reminds me of my high school life. Lots of old love songs are indeed my favorites. I always listen to them when I am all by myself in the living room. When the boys are taking their nap, I have some time to entertain myself and I listen to the radio. Sometimes listening to these songs makes me sad too. Some songs has a meaning to me. It not only reminds me of my youth day, but my childhood memories as well. I love music and love listening to them. I know that most human being love music and I am just one of them. While waiting for my husband to get home from work, I am trying to do my online task too. Listening to my favorite songs while typing this entry relax my mind. Chopping lip...

Brandon has been complaining lately about his lip feel so dry. I am not sure why it is so dry, since he drink his juice everyday. He do not like it! I caught him so many times trying to pick his lip skin. So yesterday, I went to the nearby store and look for a lip balm where kids are allowed to use. I rub some lip balm on his lip every now and then, especially after bath. What a big difference after 24 hours! Brandon's lip look smoothier once again and no more chopping lip. We need to keep it up everyday. He love the vanilla minty flavor of the lip balm I bought for him and for me. I haven't heared Brandon complaining anymore about his lip. He is now a happy little boy again. Hehe!

He loves his "baba milk"...

Everytime Elijah complain because he is starting to get hungry, I then hurriedly warm hom some formula milk. Once he saw me shaking that bottle of milk, he just start smiling and complaing at the same time, haha! I really find it so cute of him! Anyway, he know exactly that the bottle I am holding is his "baba milk". Brandon call it baba (bottle) milk, so I think we will just call it that way for now. My son surely can drink milk. We still got 6 more months to go until we can switch him from formula to whole milk. It is advisable to stop formula milk once the child turn 1year old. My Elijah will not turn 1 until january next year. Formulas are way too expensive now adays. We can't afford to have another baby anymore. I am glad I got two kids now. I feel complete already. Formulas and diapers are just outrageous now adays. Sigh!

Sweet boy..

My son Brandon really made me laugh this morning. He did a puppet show on his own, which is really cute! I never thought a 2 and half year old can make up his own stories. He owns couple of puppets and he really love them. He lean on our center table and make up his own stories using his puppets. He first told me "common mama, look".. then he started talking. The puppets stories are all about the mother and a son who argue when it comes to bath time. The mother puppet said, come on baby it's time to take a bath, then the son puppet said "no bath" and run away. HAHA! It really make me laugh seeing my son make up his own story. Funny thing is, the story that he made up are base on me and him, LOL! Me and him always argue when it comes to bath time. He don't like to take a bath in the tub, he wants to take shower with me. Can you picture? He is such a sweetie. My poor darling son, just a toddler boy who still got a baby face for me. He made my day so bright with his puppet show! Can't wait to share this to hubby once he get home from work

In need of new pedicure!

I notice that my nail colored toes are starting to look ugly, LOL! The last time I did pedicure was two weeks ago. Yes, I do pedicure every two weeks. I always make sure that my toe nailsl ook beautiful. I always try different nail color every two weeks. For some ladies, it took them a month to clean and color their nails. I can understand that, because they also have important things to do aside from doing pedicure. But I cannot wait for a month to clean my nails and color it. I been like this eversince I was in high school. I am very picky when it comes to my toes. I always find a women's foot with pretty pedicure a distraction. Since I have a toddler and an infant, I only colored my toes and not my fingernails. I also make sure my fingernails are always cut-short and clean. This is what my boys pedia had told me. If you are a mom of little piglets, you surely cannot let your fingernails grow longer. Golly, my toe nails definitely need to be clean and colored new. Good thing I always have my pedicure kit on handy!

Time to sign-off...

for I feel so tired and sleepy now. I am just waiting for hubby to get Elijah dress and we will be heading for bed. I had a long day today taking care of the house chores and the kids. It is such a tiring job indeed. It worn me out when night time comes. Good thing hubby always there to help me, even thoguh I am sure he is tired from work too. It was very surprising to hear that most airlines are now charging their passengers when they request for pillows and blanket. I am not happy about this news at all. Our new place...



                                  

This is our new place. From Washington, to Illinois, then here in Ohio. Moving from place to another place is tiring and stressful. But if you land in such a beautiful as this place, your moving is worth it. I really love our new place. It is very clean, beautiful and the most important.. it is safe. When my husband told me that there is a job waiting for him here in Ohio, I was hesitant at first. It is because, we never been here in Ohio. I don't know what Ohio looks like and what's the weather here. I was also thinking there might be not much asian stores around in this area. But the job being offered to my husband is the kind of job that no one could ever refused. So I go with the flow and just think positive. God is so good to me. Aside from the fact that hubby loves his new job, we also landed in a beautiful place. There are plenty of asian stores, shopping mall, restaurants, and stores around this place. The only thing I did not like is the very warm weather during summer and very cold weather during winter. But aside from that, I love our new life here in Ohio.

Alzheimer's Memory Walk

The more we get older, the better chance we will have Alzheimer. It is probably one of the most common disease that any person could suffer. Nobody wants to have Alzheimer, that is for sure. My grandmother has been suffering Alzheimer disease all this years. It is very sad to say, but Alzheimer's can definitely mess-up a person's life. Just like what my grandmother is facing right now. She barely know her children and grandchildren because of Alzheimer. I must say, that my grandmother is experiencing the kind of Alzheimer's that is unteated. It is way too late for her, as she is getting too old. I feel so sad for her because we love her dearly. I make a blog article about this Alzheimer disease because I do believe that we can prevent this. Our health is very important. Not just for ourself, but to all our love ones too. We need to start learning how to prevent Alzhemier.

We must be aware that Alzheimer is a serious problem that we could face in the future. Sending package!

I plan to send big box of package going to the Philippines before this year end. Unfortunately, I cannot find any carrier offices that will take my package to the Philippines aside from U.S Postal office. I prefer the one that they called "Balikbayan Boxes" to take my package to my province. I tried calling several carrier services that take packages to the philippines and they told me the same thing, they do not have any branches here in Ohio. I cannot believe it! Now, the only way to send my huge box is by using Postal Service. I don't really mind using U.S Postal service for I really like the postal service here in the states. My problem is when my package gonna be at the Philippines post office. It is very sad to say, but it took forever before my family can get it.

Plus, once they receive my package I can already imagine how ruined the box will look like. For short, I do not trust them! Don't get me wrong, I will never say anything bad about them if I haven't experienced anything bad. I remember hubby send me package in the Philippines and it took forever before they send me notice that I have a package waiting to be pick-up. It was supposed to be for christmas day and I receive it almost february already. It is very sad to say, but it is true! That's why I want a private carrier service to handle my box. I hope I can find one because I definitely need to send all of this stuffs before christmas. It's getting crowded on my storage, I need to send all of those as soon as possible. Does anyone know any balikbayan services in Ohio? Please let me know!

Look at those big brown eyes and chunky cheeks! Ain't he look adorable? I just love squeezing those chunky cheeks, LOL! That's my youngest son Eli. He is now 6 months old. He can sit on his own now and love attention. Last check-up, he weighs 18 lbs. 13 ounces and measure almost 28 inches long! His pedia said he is little bit taller than a normal baby on his age. I just love my living doll! He loves to eat and drink his milk. He do lots of noises, kicking and playing. He also love to dance! Look forward on his video where he is dancing. He is smart baby boy just like his big brother. I always thanked God for giving me healthy and good looking kids! Although, they did not got it from me, LOL!

Losing weight..

I lost more weight than I ever expected. It just happen actually. I was actually planning of keeping 97 lbs on me but when I went to the scale this morning to weigh myself, it says 95 lbs. Ummmm.. probably because I haven't eaten' anything yet. Once I have food on my tummy, I might be on 97 lbs again. If I ask anybody, they will tell me that I am skinny once again. I am back at my old shape, but lots of my jeans are still tight. I wonder? I think my hips expand more after giving birth second time around. I am hoping I will not lose more weight for I am satisfied with my current weight right now. Too skinny is not a good idea either. 97 lbs is just perfect for me!

Muggy Wednesday

Hello! Good day everyone. How's everybody been lately? I hope good! As for me, I am fine. It is such a muggy wednesday it is for us here. I went outside to sweep the patio and golly, it feels so muggy! What a muggy wednesday it is. I have no plans to go out anywhere today for it is too hot! How I wish there is a nearby beach in this area so we can go for swimming. I feel like soaking in a cooler water when the weather gets too muggy as this. Sad to know, the pool complex is always crowded.. urrghh! Anyway, thanks to all of you out there who always drop my ec. I truly appreciate it. A wonderful visit...

My inlaw and her friend decided to visit us here in Ohio last friday. I was surprised when my husband called me friday morning from his office telling me that my mother inlaw and her friend is coming for a visit friday afternoon. It was already like 11:00 in the morning when he let me know, so I was in hurry for a quick cleaning, LOL! I want the house smelling clean and net before they arrive. It didn't took me long to dust and vaccuum. I then give the boys a bath and took shower too. Hubby got home early and brought me some lunch that I was really happy about, LOL! Our visitors arrive finally and it was really nice to see my mother inlaw once again and her friend. They were both very happy to see us again, espcially seeing the boys again. Mom miss her grandkids so bad I can tell. She was just all smile seeing the boys. Poor mom, wish we live closer to her. She is such a wonderful mother inlaw to me and grandma to the boys. We love her very much and thankful for her wonderful visit to us.

Soar throat..

I had colds since saturday morning. I been sneezing and my throat is really hurting that cause my voice to sound weird. My voice changed and my throat is really soar up to now. It's been bothering me since saturday and we are now monday. It's been two nights without much sleep. My nose is too stuffy and I been sneezing still. I find myself woking and woking up at night to go to the bathroom and cough there. I don't want my kids woke up from my coughing. Yesterday was really bad. I was just at the couch laying all day. Hubby did all the chores because I don't feel good at all. He take good care of everything for me. He let me rest. Though I will woke up feeling better today, but nope. I feel the same. Soar throat, horsey voice and still got stuffy nose. Grrr! Hate it! I am all by myself watching the boys today and I still don't feel good. What a life!

Lovely Monday!

Hello! Good morning. What a lovely monday morning it is for us here. Sun shines early this morning but it feels little cooler outside. It feels great to feel the cool air once again.
