After 3 days of not feeling well, I woke up today with a little smile on my face. I feel much better after drinking plenty of water with lemons yesterday. I also gargle warm water with salt many times yesterday. My throat was very soar in past 3 days and drinking plenty of water with lemons sure helps! Now I know what to do if I have soar throat. Over the counter medicine don't work for me. I remembered that my mom used to give me water with plenty of lemon juice everytime I have soar throat. I tried it again yesterday and boy, I am glad I did.

I gargle warm water with salt again this morning. Thinking of drinking lemon juice again after lunch. I still have runny nose right now. But glad that my throat is not so soar, anymore. I ordered this two pairs of boots last week at Sears. This is the best time to shop for new boots because lots of stores are getting rid of their 2009 winter products. Best thing about it? We're sick...

My throat started feeling weird yesterday. Took some pain reliever but nothing seems to work. When I got up this morning, my throat got worst. Geeze, I am sick! I hate this feeling. My head is aching too. It feels soooo weird... sigh! I just noticed that my youngest son has been sneezing non-stop. He is having a runny nose right this time.. golly!

I want to stay in bed and get more rest, but my kids needs me. Three days ago, my eldest son catched some cold. So I guess, me and Eli catch Brandon's cold as well. The three of us are sick! Hopefully, hubby won't catch it. This is the most annoying feeling ever. I just hate it when headache and soar throat rolled at the same time.

There are plenty of chores that I want to do, but I feel so weird. Hopefully, I'll get better before the day is over. What a bad day to start the week!

OMG, it feels so nice to have a cool weather once again! It feels like years that we haven't had this.. LOL! Today is such a gorgeous day. I can only wear hoddies outside! Love it soo much! I went out for groceries today together with my kiddos. Glad I am done with food shopping for awhile. Thinking of going out tomorrow to meet my dearest friends and have some lunch together. Tomorrow is going to be nice day too.

I been trying hard to lose 5 more pounds, but it's been pretty hard. Especially, when I crave for some food. As I was thinking, I came to up an idea that maybe I should stop midnight snack and see if it works. Eversince I got here in the United States, I started snacking at night... and I mean like, almost every night. Which is for me, such a bad habit! After eating dinner, that should be it and nothing else but water or milk before going bed. It's been a year now that I don't barely drink soda. Everytime we dine-out, I always order lemonade or water for drinks. I don't stock soda in my house unless I am throwing a party. My kids don't even know what soda is and what it taste like. Which is good!

After two straight nights of no midnight snack.. I loss 2 pounds! My oh my, I was so happy when I saw the "TWO" numbers on the scale instead of "Three" numbers. I used to weigh 101 lbs and I am now 99 lbs. Which is by the way, an ideal weight for petite woman like me. I only stand like 4'9 ft. and everytime I weigh more than 100 lbs. I feel so weird. I felt heavy, lousy, you name it. Maybe because, I've never been this heavy all my life. So just imagine how I felt when I had my two pregnancies.. LOL!

I am one happy lady after seeing the numbers on the scale today! My goal is to reach 96 lbs and I will be size 1 again! Right now, I am like size 2.. Everything is going great for me. Hopefully, I'll reach my ideal weight before summer come! And oh yeah, NO MORE MIDNIGHT SNACK for me.

Today is such a lovely day. Sun is very bright and it's cool outside. A perfect day to go walking! But before that, I need to do some task first. I can really feel the spring now! The weather has been very cool lately. Won't be long and flowers will start blooming.. .. I soo love that! Hopefully, no more snow for the rest of this month. I am so fed up with snow, snow, snow!

I am all smile everytime I woke-up in the morning knowing that it is not freezing cold outside. Anyway, we'll definitely go out today for a walk in the park. My boys love that idea! They are as well tired of being stock in the house most of the time. It's time to have some fun!

Hello! Hello! Hope everyone is having a great time. Huh! I can't remember when was the last time I updated this blog. Been busy lately. Anyway, the weather is getting better everyday in central Ohio. Woke up this morning and saw some snow flurries outside. But that's actually much better compare to heavy snow! It's been in mid 30's for the past couple days. It will get better by next week which should reach about 40's.. yeppeyy! Yes, I'd rather have 40's than below 20's.. it's been months of below 20's.. NO FUN!

I have so many plans once it get warmer. I just can't wait! I am also having a birthday in less than 2 months.. ... pretty wild! There are plenty of nice things to look forward this year. The best pork longanisa ever!

I went to the nearest filipino store last weekend to grab me some fresh veggies and pork longanisa (pork sausage). They don't have the brand that I usually purchase when I was still living in Washington state. Anyway, I was force to try something else. I wasn't sure if it taste as good as the one that I usually purchase but since I've been craving for longanisa I just grab it right away. The brand of the longanisa is called "Manila's Ihawan". I cook some yesterday for lunch... and guess what? It was delishhhhhhhhh! Paired it with plain rice and stir fried veggies.

...way too much! I am talking about the snow. It started yesterday morning non-stop. We're suppose to go out yesterday to find the right lense for my eyeglasses but the snow were unstoppable. The phone ring around dawn and learned that hubby's workplace is gonna be closed. That's how bad the weather! I woke up this morning and a bit surprised when I saw 8 inches of snow outside... yikes! My porch is covered with snow. It's pretty white outside! Snow keeps falling. Brrrr... very, very cold. This year winter is crazy!

I want to go outside so I can take some pictures, but thinking about it gives me chills already.. haha! So I better not. It's been pretty wild lately. Happy to know month of March will be very soon! Spring, spring, spring! I can't wait for spring!

...to all of you! Hope you are having a good one. My family and I went to the mall today. Hubby let the boys play in the indoor playground so I can look around to my favorite stores without my little ones bothering me, LOL. I look around the stores and ended up at JC Penney store. Golly, they were having 70-80% off sales going on! I found a cute sweater dress that I really fall inlove with and a cute top. I can't wait to wear them! It was a great deal.

Anyway, after short shopping I went to my eye check-up which is just inside the mall. Had my eye check and everything was smooth. My vision is not perfect anymore. Yes, I do need eyeglasses for I am near sighted. Doctor give me my prescription eyeglasses. I am working on finding the right eyeglasses for me. After my appointment, we went ahead and had our Valentine dinner. All in all, it was a very simple yet fun celebration for me and for my family.... alright, Happy Valentine's Day once again! ♥♥♥ goodnight.

Made an appointment this sunday for eye exam. My vision has been not good lately, specially during at night time. I find myself having headaches after staring the tv at night for hours and soar my eyes. I hate wearing eyeglasses but seems like I have no choice. Somebody advises me not to wear contact lenses for it makes my eyes feel dry. Gosh, I am only in my 20's but I got eye problem already. My husband been trying to convince me to visit an eye-doctor but I am always stubborn. Guess it's time to have it check for it's getting' worse everyday. I also get scared driving at night time with my vision being blurry/cloudy. So let see what will the doctor going to tell me about my vision. Hope, it's not that bad! It's snowing, It's boring!

My, oh my! When will this snow going to melt? I am so freaking tired of this snow! Grrrr... can't wait for warm weather again. Been just home lately. I don't feel like going around dragging my kids with this oh so cold weather! Noooo fun! Tomorrow is weekend, hopefully no more snow. It is just way too cold, you know? My kids had runny nose for days now. This weather sure stinks. Yes, I am complaining about it and who wouldn't, anyway? Too bad that hubby's work is located in this area. I would love to move-out here and live somewhere where it's warm and cool... not terribly cold! I can already imagine my kids when they start school. When I learned that Capt. Phil Harris passed away, I felt like my heart just drop. He was one of my favorite Captain in the Discovery Channel ..."Deadliest Catch". My husband and I are big fans of the said show. We never miss any episodes. Infact, I was looking forward for the new episodes which should be shown around month of april. I am not sure if I could watch the new season, because I am deeply saddened by this news. He will always be remembered. My thoughts and prayers goes to the whole family. Hello! Happy monday everyone! Brrr.. what a cold morning. It's only 3F outside... weehhh! Brandon supposed to have his dental appointment today, but I canceled it. Aside from the fact that it is very cold, my boys both have runny nose. I hate dragging them to the dental clinic knowing that they both don't feel well. Anyway, had to rescheduled it. I been craving for this kind of bread. We call it "Pan De Coco" in the Philippines. In english, sweeten bread in coconut caramel. I know that alot of you do not like coconut. My husband is an example. But if you grow-up in a tropical country like I do, then I'm sure you are a big fan of coconut! I decided to make some last night for I was really craving for it. Nope, I am not pregnant just missing the old days.. lol! Back in my high school years, I always want this kind of bread for afternoon snack. Anyway, this is perfect with coffee in the morning. Made 2 dozens because I want to give some to my friends.

Can you see the coconut caramel filling inside? Yummo! Hubby did eat some of this, but take off the coconut filling. He like the bread itself. Which was fine for me, LOL! Good morning everyone! Hope you are having a great friday morning. As for me, it's a beautiful morning! My boys woke up very early this morning than they usually do (around 7:30). They woke me up, telling me they are getting hungry.. lol! Got no choice but to get up, although I was still feeling sleepy. They sound soo sweet asking if I could make them some breakfast with the word "pleaseeee".. hehe! Fix them some breakfast and now, they are happy eating breakfast while watching disney channel at the same time. Load some laundry and will do some cleaning later on. ... was born on Jan. 24th, 2010! I am a proud auntie to a healthy baby girl. They named her Samantha Nicole, which is by the way, my favorite baby girl name. They asked for baby girl name and that's what I give them.. haha! Sorry can't share any photo this time. I was able to see her through web cam last week! She look so adorable! Love those chubby cheeks of her. It reminds me of my two darling sons. My parents are very happy and proud to finally have a granddaughter in the family. After 3 grandsons, a granddaughter is finally here! Now, I got plenty of reasons to visit Philippines once again. I miss my family so much and I cannot wait to meet the new additions to my family! It hurts to be thousand of miles away from your loved ones.... sigh! But I am hoping to be able to visit soon before my eldest son starts school. Crossing fingers!

I am a proud MOM of my toddlers!

My toddlers has been sleeping on their own bedroom for a month now. I had this anxiety separation on the first couple of nights, because I'm used with them sleeping on my side for four years. And I mean about, eversince my eldest child was born which was Sept. 2005. At first, I was very excited that finally they will sleep on their own room.

I wasn't able to sleep good that couple of nights, because I felt weird, stranged, nervous, you name it. I get-up every couple of minutes and take a peek on their bedroom, making sure they were okey. I know it sounds funny, specially their bedroom is just next to mine. But gosh, that first couple of nights wasn't easy for me to be honest. Will you call it anxiety separation? Because for me, that what it feels like. Anyway, I am okey now and getting used with it (I guess). It's just that, I did not expect to experienced such anxiety just because my kids will finally sleep on their own bedroom.

Are you a mom who experienced the same thing as me? Please let me know! Geeze, I can't imagine myself once they've grown-up and be able to live on their own. I am not so looking forward into that! But I do feel proud that they finally learn how to be independents without mommy sleeping by their side at night... it's a big relief on my side at the same time.. sigh! It sure is not easy to be a Mom.

I never expected anything from my dh last christmas, because we got my car on month of October. Anyway, I was very surprised and thankful to him for giving me this gorgeous Tignanello French Tote! Hello! What's up guys? Hope, good! Brrr.. it's icy cold today. I am suppose to do grocery shopping today, but I can't deal with this cold weather. So I decided to do chores that should be done tomorrow, in exchange of doing grocery.. sigh! I dunno if I could finish all of this house chores, my boys seems not cooperating with me. Anyways, there are indeed too many things to do but I don't have enough time. Here I am, taking a break. Eating some oatmeal while blogging at the same time.. LOL! Laundry is starting, done with vacuum and dusting, next is organizing the other room that looks like a storage because of sooo many toys. Hopefully, I could able to do all of that today. My kids love the UP movie very much! I personally like this movie too. The story is very cute and I cannot blame my kids from watching it all the time. You know how toddlers are! Anyway, I was laughing so hard when I first saw Brandon wearing a fake eyeglasses. He look so adorable, but remind me of a genius, nerd looking boy. His daddy told him he looks like Harry Potter. He then replied, "I am not Harry Potter, I am just pretending like the grandpa in my UP movie".. haha! Thought that was funny of him to imitate. Very cute, though! I attemp to take picture of him, but he hide everytime he see me holding my camera. He was shy, LOL! Anyway, we can't wait for Toy Story 3 soon. We are going to watch it on theater! My boys love Toy Story and I am sure they'll behave while we watch the movie. Can't wait for summer!

Such a beautiful day today! The weather is cool and Mr. Sun is up! Thinking of bringing my kids to the playground and let them play while the weather is okey.
