Countdown until christmas!

Yeppeyy! Christmas day is coming! In just few more hours from now, we will be celebrating christmas day! Are you guys excited as well? Because I absolutely do! I just love christmas! I grow up without any presents to open on christmas day, believe it or not. Our family tradition is to just have some food on the table on the christmas eve. If I am lucky enough, sometimes there are family friend who give me a gift. It's not that expensive gift at all, but once I received a gift from somebody on christmas day, I remember how happy I am! Me and my siblings never complain, because our parents never think of giving us some presents. We used to it, because we were poor. The very important part of our christmas, is to have food on our table on christmas eve and that's it. Unlike here in the united states, where parents make sure their kiddos will receive a bunch of presents. In my country, wether there are presents or not.. doesn't really matter.

Kids in my country enjoy going caroling, where some people give them little money after singing some christmas song. I remember start going out with my friends and neighbors the last week of november. We went caroling to each neighbors to earn some money for school the next day. No one can ever draw the happiness on our faces when somebody give us little money after we sang, lol! We are just so happy when somebody give. Sometimes, people give candy, some give money and some people invite us to eat inside rather than giving any money. My childhood memories every christmas is like a gem. I treasured them and I will share it to my kids one day. I will share to them what I experienced, to make them feel lucky to have the kind of life they have right now compare to what I have when I was at their age. Appreciating things that you received is very important, wether that is what you are expecting or not. You should still be thankful. I saw lots of kids now adays, who doesn't know how to appreciate. I wish my kids to not grow like that. Even if, it is just a very small thing.. you should know how to appreciate. That's what I learned and I want my kids to learn that from me as well. I wish you all a very joyful holiday season! Have fun and Merry Christmas to all of us!
